Return and Refund Policy


Thanks for your purchase at DJB Software Inc., dba DJB Radio & Digital JukeBox at   If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to offer some suggestions towards the return of hardware and/or uninstall of software for a refund.

Preface – The Purchase of Software and the Licensing Process:

For most our software products, DJB software Trial Downloads are available to the User for evaluation before purchasing.  All Trial Downloads are operationally full feature for the trial time assigned within the software program.

When the User makes a software purchase and then a payment with DJB, the User is sent a license id and password to unlock their

Once the license id and password is installed and the software activated by the User, the software is then (and only then) officially User owned.

Refunds After Unlock Codes are Installed:

After the Trial Download period, and a license has been activated, the program is no longer trial software, the User needs to submit in writing to their reason for requesting a refund for their purchase.

A 15% restocking fee shall apply on a refund request for a DJB software product that was purchased and licensed. This 15% restocking fee shall be deducted from the refundable amount.

DJB Management shall review the request and the circumstances surrounding it and if approved for refund, DJB shall issue a refund by way of a credit note to the User’s account, or a full monetary refund paid by DJB Software Inc Corporate check. In all cases where the refund is requested and processed, the DJB software purchased is then decommissioned by DJB and can no longer be in use by the User.

Refunds for PayPal® Merchant paid purchases:

Requests for refund for a PayPal paid transaction for DJB products, need to be made through PayPal channels. Once submitted, the review process is managed by PayPal® for the User and DJB. PayPal review decision is always final.

In all cases where the refund is requested and processed, the DJB software purchased is then decommissioned by DJB and should not be in any use by the User.

In addition, the User needs to state in writing and submit same to DJB Management that the software has been uninstalled and removed from their computers.  

Refunds on Hardware Purchased from DJB

Any hardware purchased can only be returned within a 10-day period after the date of hardware delivery to the User.

The User must contact DJB Sales Personnel at and provide a written report on why the hardware is being returned. On the approval of the return, DJB will generate a a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to the User.  The RMA must specify the SKU of the merchandise being returned, the “SHIP TO” return address and “SHIP METHOD”, with which chosen carrier the hardware is to be shipped.

Once DJB receives your item, our personnel will inspect the items and notify the User that we have received the returned item(s). We will immediately notify the User on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

Restocking Fee(s) Apply:

Any new hardware in its original box and packing can be returned within 10 days of purchase. A restocking fee of 15% will apply in all cases.

DJB will initiate a refund to the credit card of the User (card that was the original method of payment) or by mailed check.

The User will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on the User’s card issuer’s policies.

Shipping Costs on an RMA are those of the User

The User will be responsible for payment of shipping costs & insurance for the return of the hardware to the designated DJB office in the RMA. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If the User request for a refund is DJB approved, all costs of return shipping if sent collect will be deducted from the User refund along with the DJB 15% restocking charge.
